STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces more than 20 times, from late Friday night to early Saturday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 700 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of rifle weaponry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, the adversary fired 200 shots from large-caliber machine guns, in a northerly direction of the line of contact.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units maintained the ceasefire, for the most part, and continued confidently carrying out their military watch.
