British Prime Minister Theresa May said she would listen to Scotland's concerns over Britain's exit from the EU but that the devolved Scottish government will not have a veto over the Brexit negotiations, Reuters reported.

“What I am very clear about is that, as we look into these negotiations, we will fully engage the Scottish government in the discussions that we have, in preparing what position the UK is going to take,” May said.

Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the decision of the UK to leave the EU became warning for other countries of the bloc which need to learn making decisions quickly rather than spending time on drawing up new contracts.
