YEREVAN. – I believe in your power, and I have faith that this government can do what all previous governments could not succeed in doing.

The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, stated the aforesaid at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

“The number one task of the government is to raise the efficiency of governance,” Sargsyan also noted. “There is no shortage of challenges in the world, in our region, and in Armenia.

“We need to continue consistently increasing the efficiency of our economy. (…) The government shall be the [respective] driving force, the builder.

“The expectations, which the people [of Armenia] have today, depend on the success of this new government.”
