Strengthening the EU defense system will contribute to the strengthening of the NATO, said the head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogerini, reports the RIA Novosti. “Strengthening the European defense is also the way of strengthening security and peace building in the world…. a strong European defense is also a way of strengthening NATO,” she said at a press conference in Bucharest.

Earlier Mogerini promised to make recommendations on strengthening the military component of the European security and defense policy before the end of November.
