One of the most sought-after sneakers ever has just become possibly the most expensive pair ever. A Hong Kong auction house has sold a pair of the new Back to the Future-inspired Nike Mag shoes for $104,000, Mashable reported.

The name of the sneaker-obsessed buyer wasn't released.

According to the source, the auction served to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF), an organization dedicated to supporting Parkinson's disease research.
