According to the preliminary opinion, the driver of the bus, which crashed in North Ossetia en route to Armenia, had fallen asleep.

The Minister of Communication, Transport and Information Technologies of Armenia, Vahan Martirosyan, told the aforementioned to journalists in Yerevan airport Friday.

Referring to the fact that although irregular routes are licensed by the Ministry, the exploitation of routes is carried out with various violations, the Minster recalled that the bill which is to regulate the sphere is still under discussion in the National Assembly of Armenia.

As reported earlier, a passenger bus, which was heading from Moscow to Yerevan, collided with a truck, on Friday at around 4:30am, on the Vladikavkaz-Beslan bypass. As a result, five people, including the bus driver were killed, and another 27 sustained injuries.
