YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Saturday received the participants in the first International Forum of Eurasian Partnership, which was convened Friday in capital city Yerevan.

Sargsyan stressed that the launch of this initiative by the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians of Russia has been given at a representational level, the Press Office of the President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The President expressed the hope that this forum will become an important platform for the representatives of its participating countries, and enable to develop practical mechanisms aimed at unlocking the potential of cooperation of these countries as well as to consider the avenues for greater and multilateral economic cooperation.

Sargsyan also stressed that Armenia is open to discussing cooperation programs.

In addition, the President briefed the meeting participants on the economic priorities of Armenia, and responded to their questions.
