The IS militants moved to Raqqa presumably from Iraq, reports the Sputnik, based on the local forces. According to the source, all the cars that arrived from Iraq are concentrated in northern Raqqa. On October 17 , the liberation one of the largest cities of Iraq, Mosul, from the IS militants began.   30 thousand Iraqi soldiers and Kurdish defense forces, supported by the US-led coalition, will be involved in the fights.  Several thousand IS militants who are currently in Mosul will launch counter attacks.
