Women are more inclined to misogyny (hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls) on Twitter than men, Brandwatch noted in study.

During the research, four million English tweets posted from 2012 to 2014 have been analyzed. According to the results, 52% of misogynistic tweets belonged to women.

It was specified that analysts of Brandwatch didn't count tweets that had obvious ironic nature,  Gazeta reported.
