The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved eleven priorities of Eurasian Technology Platforms (ETPs).

They included such directions as space, medicine, information and communication technologies, photonics, extraction of natural resources, ecology, agriculture and industrial technologies, the EEC press-service reports.

The main objective of the ETP is to create innovation industry through forming effective instruments of commercialization of scientific work and research results, as well as infrastructures needed for that, carrying out systematic work in the Union’s countries aimed at accumulating leading national and global achievements of research and technology progress and mobilization of scientific potential for the innovative development of industry.

The joint activity of the Eurasian Technology Platforms’ participants will be aimed at carrying out applied scientific research, generation and implementation of innovation and cooperation projects, organization of combined developments, creation of innovative technologies and new products, as well as their introduction into the industrial production. All this will contribute to the innovative transformation of industrial complexes of the Union’s member-states and bring them to a new technological level.
