Leaders of EU member countries suggested to determine visa liberalization mechanisms between EU and Turkey in the next few weeks, EU reported.

It was noted that in May the European Commission suggested European Parliament and the EU Council to lift visa restrictions for citizens of Turkey if the Turkish side satisfied conditions for the migratory agreement. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened the EU with an exit from this agreement if visas were not annulled.
