WhatsApp’s anticipated video calling functionality is now rolling out for Android.

The new free video calling feature appears to be available only in the latest WhatsApp beta version for now but wider rollout may be on its way soon, Android Police reported.

Video calls in 2.16.318 version are becoming available seemingly at random. 

“We've had success forcing video calling to activate by wiping app data and logging in again. You can try this, but make sure you back up your chats first” the portal noted.
