YEREVAN. - Armenia and China will cooperate in the area of criminal investigation.  

Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia, Vigen Kocharyan, said the aforementioned in the parliament Tuesday, introducing for ratification the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance between the Republic of Armenia and People’s Republic of China in criminal cases.

The cooperation will include exchange of materials on criminal cases and material evidence, results of crime scene investigation, as well as invitation of witnesses and the accused upon voluntary appearance. The sides will handle the investigation and confiscation inquiries in accordance with their national legislation.
