Gurgen Ayvazyan, 20, who was killed Wednesday as a result of a ceasefire violation by the adversary in one of the military units of Artsakh, was a resident of Gandzak village of Armenia's Gegharkunik province.

He was the youngest child in the family: he has also got an elder sister and brother. Gurgen was soon to be demobilized.   

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army serviceman Gurgen Avetik Ayvazyan (born in 1996) sustained a fatal firearm wound at around 5:00 pm Wednesday, at a protection area of a military unit located in the northeastern direction of the Defense Army.

Investigation is underway to find out the details of the incident.
