YEREVAN. – On the sidelines of his working visit to Belarus, Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, held a private talk with his Russian colleague Dmitry Medvedev, in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk.

Highlighting the fact that the two countries are first of all bound by allied relations of strategic partnership, Prime Ministers Karapetyan and Medvedev stressed the need to take steps to further expand bilateral trade and economic relations, Press Office of the Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They also considered the fact that the engagement of Armenia and Russia within the Eurasian Economic Union opens up new opportunities and prospects for cooperation.
