Turkish curling men and women teams were involved in numerous scandals after their return from European Championships held in Scotland.

Sportsmen proffered to rent apartments not to stay in hotels and did their utmost to shame Turkey within a month, Posta reported.

First, they invited a Scottish girl to one of their parties and raped her. The arrested Turkish sportsman was released only after he paid a large amount to girl’s mother and she withdrew her complaint.

Turkish sportsmen also fired one of the apartments. Firemen hardly managed to extinguish the fire. Owners of the apartment demanded compensation for burnt property.

Besides, Turkish sportsmen went to casinos and drank all nights long.
