Conference of UNESCO experts, which will discuss the problem of the Armenian khachkars (cross-stone), will be held in April 2011, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan announced at a press conference.
According to her, next year an exhibition dedicated to Armenian khachkars (cross-stones) will be
organized in the UNESCO office.
The Minister called on the journalistic community to unite in the information counteract in the name of preservation of Armenian culture, which, according to Mrs. Hasmik Poghosyan, is in jeopardy because neighbors repeatedly misinform the world public on the Armenian cultural heritage.
