50.3% of Turks oppose opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, Today’s Zaman reported.
These are results of the opinion poll conducted by MetroPoll. 27% of respondents backed the border opening, while 22% found difficult to reply.
In 1993 Turkey decided to unilaterally close the border with Armenia in solidarity with Azerbaijan due to war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
