Concerts in commemoration of famous jazz musician George Garanian will be held in Krasnodar and Moscow.

Next Tuesday “Jazz Fantasy” concert will be held at the Moscow theatre “Et Cetera”.  Big Band  of George Garanian, participants of Denis Matsuev “Stars on Baikal” festival, the actors Alyona Yakovleva and Sergey Chonishvili, as well as friends and colleagues of the musician, will participate in the event, RIA Novosti reports referring  to press service of Garanian Foundation.

The renowned jazz saxophone player, bandleader and composer died from cardiac arrest in Krasnodar on January 11, 2010 at the age of 76.
