Armenian photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan had a car accident on Yerevan-Artik highway on February 1.

The vehicle carrying the reporters plunged into the gorge due to a heavy snow fall, the photojournalist told Armenian news NEWS.am. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Gagik Shamshyan, a photojournalist of Photolure agency and the reporter of E-press news agency Lilit Tadevosyan were in the car. They had left for Artik to cover the trial of Armenian political prisoner, Chief-editor of Haykakan Zhamank daily Nikol Pashinyan.
