On June 21, 2011 System of a Down will perform in Olympic Sports Complex in Moscow.

System of a Down, dormant for more than five years, officially announced the reunion in November of 2010. The Group announced a dozen appearances at summer festivals in Europe, particularly in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, UK, Austria, Sweden and Finland, writes Lenta.ru.
 
Previously vocalist Serj Tankian said that the members of System of a Down gathered together at the bassist Shavo Odadjian’s wedding in the summer of 2010.

 “We chatted for a while, we’re still friends, and nothing has changed. We receive many concert offers. We will discuss them, but have not decided anything”, said the singer.

System of a Down was founded in 1995 in Los Angeles, originally from Armenia, singer Serj Tankian, guitarist Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadzhyan and drummer John Dolmayan. During its career, the band has released five albums, all platinum.

In 2006, System of a Down went on a long-term vacation and all of the participants are engaged in their own projects.

In August, Serj Tankian gave a concert in Yerevan, as well as participated in several cultural activities.
