The recent tension between Prosperous Armenia and Republican Party should be regarded as a part of 2012 pre-election campaign, political expert told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Expert at the Armenian Center for National and International Studies Manvel Sargsyan calls it “a false start” of the political forces. Sargsyan considers difficult to make precise forecasts, adding that Republican Party and Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) are most likely to be presented as a consolidated force. As to Prosperous Armenia Party, the expert deems it will participate in 2012 parliamentary elections as a separate political force.

Armenia’s ruling coalition includes Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia Party, and Orinats Yerkir Party (Rule of Law).
