A small-but-concrete-steps approach is applied in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution, Head of Noravank foundation Gagik Harutyunyan told a press conference on February 15.

At the moment, the OSCE Minsk Group is the most effective structure in resolving Karabakh conflict settlement along with its omissions. He stressed the mediators act step-by-step, as Azerbaijan’s claims (return of territories to Azerbaijan) are not perspective. For this reason, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs take small but concrete steps. The sides reached an agreement on the exchange of war prisoners and dead bodies. Later, talks on withdrawal of snipers are likely to be conducted, he noted.

According to him, there is a small likelihood of war resumption due to the diplomatic efforts by the Armenian side.
