On their official websites some foreign offices advise against visiting some regions of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh bordering on Azerbaijan. The reason is permanent shooting by the Azerbaijani side despite the international community`s pressure.

The foreign offices of Hungary, Italy and Spain have had this information on their official websites for many years, while Azerbaijan has attempted to interpret it as its great diplomatic achievement.

It is at least strange. Many countries do not advise their citizens to visit certain places even in developed European countries.

For example, the Israeli foreign office prohibits citizens from visiting Georgia (they imply Abkhazia and South Ossetia).

It is noteworthy that the foreign offices put notes on Nagorno-Karabakh in their sections on Armenia.
