On March 3, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian participated in the meeting of Visegrad Four (or V4 is an alliance of four Central European states-the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) and foreign ministers of countries involved in EU-launched Eastern Partnership project in Bratislava. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule also attended the meeting.

Edward Nalbandian presented the main directions of Armenia-EU cooperation and stressed Armenia’s expectations about development of further cooperation.

Responding to the statements on Karabakh conflict resolution by the leader of Azerbaijani delegation, Nalbandian stressed Eastern Partnership project is not a format to discuss the Karabakh issue. He emphasized the OSCE Minsk Group is the only format for the Karabakh conflict resolution, backed by the international community.
