Head of the Armenian Diocese of Germany Archbishop Karekin Bekchian held a meeting with the Mayor of Sisli Mustafa Sarigul.
Bekchian noted that Sisli district can serve as an example of religious dialogue expressing gratitude to Sarigul for friendly attitude toward non-Muslim population, Turkish Haberler website reports.
Mustafa Sarigul said people of different religion and cultures reside in Sisli district stressing Armenian by origin Vasken Barin was appointed deputy mayor.
