YEREVAN. - An annual awarding of IT managers has kicked off in Armenia.

The winners will be provided with an opportunity to undergo 15-day training course in Stanford Executive Institute.

Last year the contest was not over as Luys Foundation failed to find funds to finance the project. This year VivaCell-MTS Company will be engaged in financing of the project. The company has already provided AMD 19 million (about $50, 000).  Three managers representing companies with number of employees not exceeding 50, can become winners of the contest.

Each winner will get $ 20,000 from VivaCell-MTS.

Hovik Musaelyan, Director of Synopsys Armenia, said the university has offered certain discounts for the Armenian students and is ready to receive at least three people from Armenia every year.

Importance of the program was stressed by the Armenian Government. Awarding is held under the auspices of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
