YEREVAN. - The Armenian Parliament must recognize the genocide of other Christian people under the Ottoman Empire in the early 20^th century, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Razmik Zohrabyan told a press conference on Tuesday.

“We should recognize the genocide of Assyrians, Greeks, and Yazidis in Ottoman Turkey. In general, we must recognize all the genocides in the world, otherwise such crimes against humanity could occur every day,” Zohrabyan noted. Moreover, the MP stressed that the Armenian people must unite to achieve progress in recognition of the Armenian Genocide under Ottoman Turkey.

Assyrian Federation of Armenia has appealed to the parliamentary forces of the Armenian National Assembly to officially recognize the genocide of Assyrians in Ottoman Turkey.
