YEREVAN. - Yerevan will host “Education, work, decent life” event for protection of rights of persons with disabilities.

A peaceful rally will start near Arno Babajanyan’s monument and end near Cafesjian Museum of Art on Saturday. An open-air concert will be held with the participation of famous Armenian singers.

The event is organized on the initiative of “Huysi Kamurj” and “Arakelutyun Arevelq” organizations jointly with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

The awarding ceremony of employers, who provided jobs for disabled people, will also be held during the concert. Videos, dedicated to UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will also be exhibited.

Danish International Development Agency provided financial assistance to the event.
