YEREVAN. – Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan met with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule in Yerevan on Friday.

The head of EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger also attended the meeting.

The sides discussed the prospects for development of cooperation between Armenia and the EU, the press service of the NSC informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The diplomats made a high appraisal of bilateral development of cooperation and improvement in relations.

Artur Baghdasaryan referred to implementation of programs within the framework of Armenia-EU cooperation, highlighting the importance of human rights, democratization, freedom, justice, and security.

In turn, Stefan Fule highly appreciated the work of the inter-agency commission to coordinate European integration and expressed readiness to contribute to reforms in Armenia.
