STEPANAKERT. - NKR President Bako Sahakyan convoked a working consultation dedicated to the development of information and telecommunication technologies in the country on Saturday.

He attached special attention to the issue of founding an information technology center in Artsakh.

Bako Sahakyan noted the importance of developing this sphere underlining that it had both political and economic significance for our republic. The President also noted that to secure desirable results it was necessary establish cooperation with corresponding circles of Armenia and the Diaspora. In this context Bako Sahakyan highly appreciate the efforts of the Armenian ministry of economy, “Enterprise Incubator” foundation, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia and a number of other organizations, whose representatives were present at the consultation, NKR Presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

NKR Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other official participated in the consultation.
