YEREVAN. – A total of AMD 21.87 billion was allocated to Armenia’s education in 2010.
Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan noted that the ministry implemented a number of important programs, including financing of Armenian studies center in University of Aleppo and training of Armenian language teachers in Georgian schools (this program is co-financed by Georgia).
The Minister stressed that Armenian schools received 2,500 computers, while 100 went to the schools of Nagorno-Karabakh.
