The Russian State Duma ratified the agreement between Azerbaijan and Russia on the state borders on June 17.

The agreement was signed in Baku on September 3, 2010.

The line corresponds to the former administrative border between Dagestan SSR and Azerbaijan SSR, RIA Novosti reports. The length of the land border between Russia and Azerbaijan is 284 km.
