Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan reached the final of XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition.
The results of Competition’s second round for Piano, Cello and Violin were announced on June 24. According to competition web-site, only five musicians from each category have been selected for the third stage.

Cellists Norbert Anger (Germany), Ivan Karizna (Belarus), Edgar Moro (France) and Umberto Clerici (Italy) will contest with Narek Hakhnazaryan.

International Tchaikovsky Competition opened on June 14. In 2011 it is held in two cities- Moscow and St Petersburg.
