YEREVAN. – Dialogue between opposition and authorities will take place sooner or later no matter what certain representatives of authority say, leader of Social Democratic Hunchakyan party, member of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) Lyudmila Sargsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She commented on Tuesday’s statement of the leader of Republican party parliament group in the Parliament Galust Sahakyan regarding his speech that Armenian authorities are ready to dialogue with opposition anywhere.

“Galust Sahakyan is famous for his primitive cynicism, which is not a sign of cleverness or analytical thinking. Despite his cynicism, he already said about the readiness for the dialogue. It is normal if authorities agree to start a dialogue, opposition will participate in negotiations. As a result, negotiations will be on snap elections, and authority has no other chance to refuse it,” stated Sargsyan.

Sargsyan also commented on another statement by Sahakyan, which was on ANC breakdown. She believes there is no threat of breakdown as all political powers that form ANC follow same goals.
