The Armenian Armed Forces have sent a peacekeeping unit—comprising 100 servicemen—to Kazakhstan—and as part of the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
During its mission in Kazakhstan, this peacekeeping unit of the Armenian Armed Forces will carry out solely the protection of strategic buildings and infrastructure.
