U.S. is strongly committed to reaching a peaceful agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke.

He recalled that last week Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had conversations with Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders calling on them to approve final basic principles of the conflict settlement, Trend agency reports.

French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier said that OSCE mediators are in the middle of their mission, which started earlier this week, and had already held meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Audronius Ažubalis.

They also held talks with Azerbaijani officials and are leaving for Yerevan to meet with Armenian President on Monday, said Fassier refusing to comment on the results of Baku meeting.
