YEREVAN.- Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited one of the military units of the Armenian armed forces on Wednesday to get familiar with the conditions of military service.  

The Minister presented reforms in the armed forces, touched upon relations between the officers and soldiers.

Speaking about the Karabakh conflict, Minister Ohanyan stressed it should be resolved peacefully. However, combat ready army is needed to protect the borders, he added.

Seyran Ohanyan also visited the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed force, ministry’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Minister also brought gifts for the soldiers.
