Russian nationalist accused of attack on Bagrat Asatryan, a 16-year-old Armenian resident of Krasnodar, is presently receiving treatment in a mental hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed that 18-year-old Russian young man Alexander Potyomin, filled with hatred towards representatives of other nationalities, offered his 18-20 friends to attack people with non-Slavic appearance. He made the decision after a killing of football fan in Moscow. Potyomin handed over masks to the group to hide their faces.

Bagrat Asatryan was attacked by 15-20 young people who beat him with clubs and knifed him when he was lying on the ground.  

Investigators say Alexander Potyomin joined the group and knifed the young man 13 times, Yerkramas newspaper reported.
