Turkish ruling party’s ranking increased by 2.99% following Premier Erdogan’s anti-Israeli statements, public opinion poll shows.
Meanwhile, opposition Republican People’s Party ranking went down by 3.6%, says the survey conducted by Turkey-based Sonar analytic center.
Eighty-seven percent of respondents assessed positively Turkey’s position on the “Mavi Marmara” flotilla incident which contributed to increase in rankings of the ruling party. On the whole, 3.27% of pollees consider Israel’s stance on the issue is right, while 2.6% believe both sides are to blame.
