A 25-year-old resident of Armenia’s Ararat Province was found and detained early Saturday morning, as a result of measures taken by the police, the latter informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
At around 11pm on Friday, the driver of Hummer grossly violated the traffic rules in downtown Yerevan, disobeyed the legal requirements of the police patrol officers, and drove the car toward the policemen and people.
The police fired shots at the tires of this vehicle in order to stop it.
The driver has been identified.
Respective measures are being taken.
