YEREVAN. - In the republic a serious fall in air temperature is expected on the 26th of September. The chief of the meteorological forecast department of the Armenian State Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Service Gagik Surenyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him in the coming three days the weather in Armenia will be influenced by a cyclone coming from the Black Sea which will be especially active during the nights and evenings.

“As a result of the cyclone, thunderstorms and rains are expected, while in several regions of Armenia the hail is forecasted. The thunderstorms will be followed by winds reaching up to 15-20 m/s. From north-west the cold arctic air streams will enter the country next two days. The temperature will gradually fall by 1-3 degrees daily till the 26th of September. In Lori, Tavush, Syunik, and Artsakh during the day the temperature will fall by 7-9 degrees on September 26th”, Surenyan said.
