WARSAW. – European Union is interested in the peace settlement of the conflicts in the South Caucasus, including Nagorno-Karabakh, FM of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski said in the interview to Armenpress agency. 

“Mandate of EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort also includes the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. EU policy on the improvement and expansion of democratic territory for an extended period, which is realized through association agreements and free trade zones, can also positively influence on the settlement of conflicts in the South Caucasus,” the Minister stated.

However, he stressed that OSCE Minsk Group is the main format for Karabakh conflict resolution.
