YEREVAN. – Proclamation adopted in the Eastern Partnership summit speaks on successful foreign policy run by the Armenian President, spokesperson of the ruling Armenian Republican Party Edward Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The proclamation states that the Eastern Partnership participants welcome EU role in the conflicts settlement process as well as trust building efforts on the current agreed formations and processes.

The summit participants also welcome the appointment of the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia stressing importance of the presence of EU monitoring mission in Georgia.

 “The sides will try to achieve for a dialogue and cooperation on international security, including political and military operations under EU control, which aims partners’ participation. Cooperation between EU and member states, as well as regional cooperation and EU aid projects are directed to peaceful settlement of the conflicts,” the proclamation reads.
