Roads on the territory of Armenia currently closed, the Rescue Service reports.

The roads leading from the high-mountain weather station “Amberd” to the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn region are closed.

According to the Department of Emergency Situations Management Agency of Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Department of Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia Republic of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to trucks.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
