Two people were killed and six others were injured as a result of a drone attack on the headquarters of a division of the Iraqi militia Hashd al-Sha'bi east of capital Baghdad, Iraqi media reported.
The commander of the 12th militia brigade, Mushtaq Taleb al-Saidi, or “Abu Taqwa,” and his accompanying person were killed and four others were wounded in this strike, IRNA reported.
According to preliminary reports, the commander of the al-Nujaba militia and his assistant were killed as a result of an airstrike on the headquarters of Hashd al-Sha'bi in Baghdad, Al-Mayadeen television reports, citing its sources.
Hezbollah al-Nujaba confirmed the death of this commander and blamed the US for what happened.
The target of this drone attack was the headquarters of the Hashd al-Sha'bi logistics forces in Baghdad.
