BEIRUT. - Armenian community plays a major role in Lebanon’s political, social-economic and cultural life, Lebanon’s FM Adnan Mansur said on Tuesday at the meeting with Armenia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan.

The sides discussed issues on bilateral cooperation and perspectives of its development, Armenia’s MFA press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Parties mutually stressed the importance of high-ranking visits, activation of current political field, deepening the cooperation in international structures as well as development of trade-economic relations.

Armenian Ambassador also met on Wednesday with Lebanon’s Minister of Industry Vrezh Sapunjyan. They discussed perspectives of developing bilateral trade-economic relations. The sides stressed the importance of holding business forums, organizing mutual visits of businessmen as well as close cooperation between the two Chambers of Commerce. The Ambassador presented Armenia’s economic developments and its priorities, as well as investment possibilities.
