YEREVAN. – Armenian Diaspora Ministry’s budget for the next year will make AMD 712.2 million or $1.9 million.

According to the Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, AMD 274.8 million is intended for cultural events, AMD 75 million for realization of Come Home program, while AMD 32.5 million will be allocated for the realization of Armenia-Diaspora projects. In particular, AMD 3 million will be spent on integration process of Iraqi-Armenians, the Minister stated during the budget hearings on Friday.

Apart from the budget of the Ministry of Diaspora, within the framework of projects of the Ministry of Education and Science, AMD 36.1 million will be allocated for trainings of teachers for the Armenian schools in Diaspora.
