Armenian team gained 9 points and shares third place with Azerbaijan and Germany in 6th tour of European Team Chess Championship 2011. Bulgaria leads with 11 points, Romania stands second with 10 points.

Results of the 6th round are following:

Armenia vs. Spain - 2,5:1,5

France vs. Bulgaria - 2:2

Greece vs. Romania - 1,5:2,5

Russia vs. Azerbaijan - 1,5:2,5

Germany vs. Italy - 3:1

In women’s section Armenia defeated Greece 3:1 and shares 8th position with Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine and France. Russia leads with 11 points, followed by Georgia (10 points) and Poland (9 points).
