At Monday's meeting with the people of Tavush Province, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan showed the model of the map of Armenia he had shown during his press conference last week.

"The most important thing to say was what was said at that day's press conference: I also showed here the same outline of Armenia that I showed there," Pashinyan said in response to the RFE/RL Armenian Service’s question about what he proposed in and with what thoughts he went to Tavush.

He assured that the residents of Voskepar and Baghanis villages and their neighboring settlements shared their concerns during the meeting that lasted for about 3.5 hours, and the video recording of this meeting will be publicized later on.

"Naturally, they told us too, and we answered those questions. And our approach is that there should not be a question raised by people that remains unanswered. If it remains unanswered, it means that we do not have a solution to the question," stressed Nikol Pashinyan.

To the question as to whether he came to this meeting with that response, the PM said: "Yes. We had come with answers to some questions. But regarding some questions, I directly told people that today I came not only to answer questions, but also to collect questions and put those questions on the government's table as an agenda and think about their answers and come back with answers. There were questions that I felt their acuteness, so to speak, more emotionally and more practically on the spot."

The most important thing, according to him, is that the people's concerns and security, their faith in the future should practically be proven on the ground and substantiated by structural regulations.

During his press conference last week, PM Pashinyan had promised to visit Tavush Province and talk with the local residents. On that day, he announced that Armenia is ready to go to partial border delimitation with Azerbaijan, not excluding that this process could start from Tavush itself.
